THERE IS / THERE ARE

Esta expresión verbal en inglés significa "hay"

  • Usa "there is" con nombres singulares. Usa "there are" con nombres plurales. 

There is a car in the street
There are some in children in the classroom

  • Usa "there isn't" y "there aren't" para expresar "no hay"
There isn't sugar in my coffee
There aren't any lions in these zoo

  • Usa "is there?" y "are there?" para construir la forma interrogativa
Is there salt in my salad?
Are there any girls in the group?
