Inglés Inicial A - Repaso

• Repasa:

La tercera persona singular en inglés tiene tres pronombres: he, she, it.

1. En la tercera persona del singular el verbo siempre termina en ‘s’, excepto en los verbos defectivos o los modal verbs (must, would, should, etc): He eats, she comes.
2. Las preguntas y frases negativas usan el auxiliar ‘does’, que es la tercera persona del auxiliar ‘do’. Esto cuando la pregunta o frase negativa no tiene uno de los otros auxiliares o modal verbs: Does she eat a lot? No, she does not eat a lot. En este caso el verbo de la frase permanece invariable.
3. El auxiliar ‘have’ cambia ‘ve’ por ‘s’ en la tercera persona del singular: He has gone, he hasn’t gone, has he gone?
4. Los verbos que terminan en ‘y’ cambian la ‘y’ por ‘ies’ : He lies, she cries, excepto cuando hay una vocal antes de la ‘y’: sheprays, he plays.
5. En verbos terminados en ‘x’, ‘sh’, ‘ch’, ‘ss’, se añade ‘es’ en la tercera persona: she pushes, it passes, he fixes.

Recordamos que, debido a los exámenes en las próximas 2 semanas en Illescas) no habrá clase de inglés inicial A hasta nuevo aviso.

En la clase de ayer, vimos más vocabulario de las partes y objetos de la casa e hicimos la lectura final de la unidad. Para el próximo día de clase hay que hacer todos los ejercicios de repaso (página verde y páginas azules del final) y los ejercicios posteriores a la lectura final.

Inglés Inicial A (Martes, 10/1/12)

Ayer comenzamos la unidad 5: leímos el primer diálogo, aprendimos vocabulario sobre las habitaciones de una casa y aprendimos a conjugar varios verbos en Presente Simple.

PRESENT SIMPLE
Para conjugar un verbo en este tiempo tan sólo hay que añadir -s a la forma verbal de la 3ª persona del singular (he, she o it)

Al añadir -s en la tercera persona algunos verbos pueden sufrir algunos cambios.
Reglas para añadir -s en 3ª persona:
1. La mayoría de los verbos añaden -s sin que haya cambio alguno. Ej: work-works
2. Los verbos acabados en -ch, -sh, -ss, -x o -o añaden -es. Ej: wash-washes/do-does/fix-fixes
3. Los verbos acabados en consonante+y cambian la"y" por "i" y añaden -es. Ej: study-studies
4. Los verbos acabados en vocal+y no sufren cambios y añaden -s: Ej. Play-plays
